Participating in this pilot program will involve:

  1. Completion of the MCC 360:

The MCC 360 is a multi-source feedback (MSF) assessment tool designed to assess physician workplace performance and provide performance data to physicians. It assesses the communicator, collaborator and professional CanMEDS roles. The MCC administers the MCC 360 process, which involves collecting feedback from multiple sources, providing support to physician participants, and producing a MCC 360 feedback report.

  2. Two meetings with an assigned peer-coach to review your MCC 360 report and personal educational plan:

Each participant will be assigned a peer-coach. Your first meeting with your peer-coach (in person or distance depending on location; approximately 1 hour in duration) will involve a review of your MCC 360 report. The purpose of this meeting is to enable you to reflect on your report and to develop a personal educational plan.

Six months later, your second meeting with your peer-coach (approximately 1 hour in duration) will be to review implementation of your personal learning plan; your successes and/or barriers and challenges encountered.

  3. Completion of pilot program evaluation instruments:

Gathering information from participants and peer-coaches is an important part of evaluating this pilot program. As a pilot participant, we need your feedback to enhance this process for future program deliveries.
