Abdominal Pain and Jaundice | 4 | This year we will have two PBL sessions focusing on a case of chronic liver disease. Unlike standard tutorials, the expectation of these PBL sessions is that learning will be student driven. Therefore, it is important for you to "review" the case in advance, read around the case, and come prepared to answer questions.You will have ‘facilitators’ (rather than ‘tutors’) with you whose purpose is to keep you on the right track and provide focus, not simply give you all the answers. It is expected that for the first session students should be prepared to discuss the tutorial up to and including the table that summarizes the blood work on page 6 of the tutorial. |
