With variations in the determinants of health, different populations have different risks and different health needs, and thus different access to the benefits of society. Physicians must be aware of the needs of special populations to ensure their practices effectively address specific risks and needs through appropriate services. This session will define special populations and identify determinants and practice issues related to these populations. |
