Session Title:
Obstetrics and Gynecology Sessions

Description:
Obstetrics session - This is a 2 hour small group session facilitated by an obstetrician.The first half hour of the session will focus on learning how to obtain a history from an obstetrical patient and reviewing the prenatal sheet. The next hour an SP will be supplied and students will be expected to take a prenatal history from that patient, with tutor supervision. For the remaining half an hour, tutors will help the students develop a problem list for the patient and review appropriate obstetrical care. Gynecology Session - This is a 2 hour small group session facilitated by a gynecologist. The first half hour of the session will focus on learning how to obtain a gynecological history. The next hour an SP will be supplied and students will be expected to take a gynecological history from the patient, with tutor supervision. For the remaining half an hour tutors will help the students develop a problem list for the patient and review appropriate gynecological care.
