Description:
This session will introduce students to the fields of arts and healing. It will describe how arts and creative activities affect all social determinants of health and fruitfully contribute to health policy initiatives, health promotion at the individual and community level, social justice and health care treatment and management of a range of illnesses. The session will also cover arts in health professional education and arts based research in health.
