7879 Perform a detailed and focused history and physical examination in order to estimate the likelihood of a bleeding problem and to help identify its cause
7880 Identify the common hereditary and acquired bleeding disorders involving the platelets, the clotting factors, and von Willebrand factor
7881 List the platelet count, blood smear, prothrombin time, partial thromboplastin time, and von Willebrand factor assays as the initial screening tests to investigate for a bleeding disorder
7882 Perform a more focused investigation based on the result of these initial screening tests
