The Advanced Physician Management & Leadership Program has been developed by the Office of Professional & Educational Development, Faculty of Medicine and the Gardiner Centre, Faculty of Business Administration at Memorial University.

Office of Professional & Educational Development (OPED) , Faculty of Medicine, provides innovative, accredited continuing medical education/continuing professional development (CME/CPD) in a variety of formats to promote lifelong learning, facilitate recruitment and retention, and enhance competencies and performance of health care professionals, faculty and students. OPED is an accredited provider of university continuing medical education/continuing professional development by the Committee on Accreditation of Continuing Medical Education (CACME) of the Association of Faculties of Medicine of Canada (AFMC) and manages the development and implementation of all CME programs, whether live or online, that are approved for credits related to the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC).

The Gardiner Centre is the outreach arm of the Faculty of Business Administration at Memorial University. We develop and deliver non-credit programs that advance business and leadership knowledge and skills for you and your organization. Aspiring supervisors, managers, executives, and entrepreneurs grow and develop through our open enrolment seminars, client-specific training, and student consulting solutions. The Gardiner Centre connects participants with the expertise and experience of Memorial’s Faculty of Business Administration instructors and other business leaders, educators and partners.

Funding for the development and delivery of this program has been generously provided by the Department of Health and Community Services, Government of Newfoundland and Labrador.
