The Physician Management & Leadership Program (PMLP) draws on the results of a comprehensive needs assessment, the latest research, and innovative educational practices to deliver a unique educational experience. Participants will explore a range of topics pertaining to leadership and management. The topics are designed to prepare participants for leadership roles in the province’s health care system.
The Program recognizes that there are frameworks in place at the professional colleges to recognize continuing professional development (CPD) activities. The PMLP has applied the MainPro+ framework of the College of Family Physicians of Canada and the Maintenance of Certification framework of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada to the development of each module in the Program.
Please consult the online content for each module for more detailed information on the CPD credits available.
