MedQuest is hitting the road bound for the west coast!  

MedQuest West is an immersive, one-day program designed for high school students interested in exploring careers in healthcare and medicine. Through a combination of hands-on learning, interactive sessions, and conversations with healthcare professionals, students will gain a realistic and inspiring glimpse into the world of medicine.

Participants will develop practical clinical skills in a guided, hands-on setting, learning how to use real medical tools, take patient histories, and think like a healthcare provider. Throughout the day, students will hear directly from physicians and healthcare trainees about their career journeys, with a special focus on rural and community-based medicine in Western Newfoundland. A panel of family medicine residents will provide honest insights into training, lifestyle, and pathways into medical school, with opportunities for students to ask questions and engage in meaningful discussion.

MedQuest is designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and make healthcare careers more accessible, especially for students considering futures in rural or underserved communities.
