PriFor 2026 is a two-day primary care conference highlighting the program, practice, and research activities of the many and varied professionals involved in primary healthcare. It provides a venue for patients, clinicians, policymakers, researchers, administrators, and others working in primary healthcare to meet, showcase, and discuss new programming and research, and build new ways of working together.
Year after year, PriFor continues to create a forum and a climate for the sharing and networking of ideas and knowledge to help strengthen research and ultimately, the delivery of primary healthcare locally, regionally, and nationally.
Target Audience: Professionals working across the spectrum of primary healthcare, including researchers, nurses, physicians, pharmacists, social workers, psychologists, dietitians, allied health professionals, decision/policy-makers, administrators, and individuals from any other discipline whose work and research might relate to primary healthcare.
Format: In-person, with the exception of IPC in Action: Lessons Learned in Team-Based Primary Care Community of Practice for Family Care Teams, on Saturday, 12, 2026 from 12:30-4:30 PM. This is a hybrid in-person/virtual session

PRIIME
The PRIIME (Primary care Research Implementation Improvement and Evaluation) Network is the NL component of the CPCRN. PRIIME supports research, implementation, quality improvement, and system-driven evaluation, with additional services for priority topic areas. Our vision is to advance high-quality, relevant primary care research that reflects the needs of interest holders, uses reliable data, and is supported by the infrastructure needed to translate findings into practice quickly and effectively. We aim to reduce research waste by ensuring research asks the right questions, uses robust and representative data, and enables faster completion and translation into practice
The Family Care Teams Resource Hub
The Family Care Teams Resource Hub is a partnership between Quality of Care NL (QCNL), the Office of Professional and Educational Development (OPED) at Memorial University's Faculty of Medicine, and the Department of Health and Community Services (HCS). The Resource Hub supports interprofessional collaboration and team-based care across Newfoundland and Labrador by providing practical learning opportunities, resources, and tools for Family Care Teams.
The Resource Hub is proud to partner with PriFor 2026 and excited to bring the IPC in Action: Lessons Learned in Team-Based Primary Care Community of Practice to this year's program. This event will provide an opportunity for Family Care Teams to share experiences, learn from one another, and explore what it takes to make interprofessional collaboration work in practice.
