Many people are surprised to learn that the gender wage gap is present in medicine. At this virtual symposium, our team of speakers will illustrate how the gender wage gap affects those who practice medicine, discuss some of the ways this problem can be studied, and help the audience understand why it is important to study this issue for recruitment and retention of women and non-binary individuals who practice medicine now and in the future.
