Governance
Professional Development (PD) Council is the governing body for OPED. It is a standing committee of the Faculty of Medicine Faculty Council and provides overall direction to OPED. PD Council is comprised of the Associate Dean of Educational Development (Chair), the Academic Directors for the unit, Vice-Dean of Medicine, and senior staff members of OPED. PD Council is responsible for prioritizing all strategic activities with four sub-committees reporting directly to PD Council:
- Faculty Development;
- Physician Assessment Training and Oversight;
- Academic Appeals;
- Continuing Professional Development Leads.
