Learning Objectives

At the end of this program, participants will be able to:

  • Review risk factors for skin cancer and sun safe practices / primary prevention
  • Discuss the natural history and complications of common skin cancers ((basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, melanoma)
  • Review clinical presentation of common skin cancers
  • Review the differential diagnosis of common skin cancers
  • Overview of management of skin cancer - topical therapy, cryotherapy, surgical management
