I have appreciated the understanding of the learners, staff and faculty who have been working tirelessly over the past eight months.
On Sunday November 22, 2020 you will have received an email indicating that due to the rising cases of COVID 19 in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador, Memorial University has postponed its university-wide return to work initiative for non-academic employees.

An associate professor of pediatrics in the Faculty of Medicine is receiving a special award.
Dr. Natalie Bridger is being recognized for responding to the COVID-19 pandemic ‘in a heroic way’ with a Pediatric Chairs of Canada (PCC) 2020 COVID Leadership Award.

Dr. Lynn Noseworthy (MD’79) has been giving to Memorial University and the Faculty of Medicine for 30 years. She feels her medical degree from Memorial provided her with wonderful opportunities to pursue a rewarding career.
“Giving back to MUN is one small way to show gratitude for the privileges I have enjoyed throughout my life as a result of the medical education I received there.”
