Care of Underserved Populations Enhanced Skills Program

Welcome!

The Discipline of Family Medicine at Memorial University is pleased to introduce a twelve-month Enhanced Skills Program in Care of Underserved Populations. The program is ideally suited for physicians interested in working with marginalized populations in resource-limited settings, whether domestic or international. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates will receive a certificate awarded by Memorial University of Newfoundland. 

Mission Statement:
 
To educate family physicians to provide and lead innovation in evidence-informed, patient-centered care that addresses the social determinants of health, to advocate for health equity in their communities, and to build health care system capacity at home and abroad.
