Our comprehensive, two-year program has been developed to train physicians for urban, rural and remote practice, using the unique medical and geographic characteristics of Newfoundland and Labrador, New Brunswick, and Nunavut.

Goal of Residency Training

To develop professional competence to the level of a physician ready to begin practice in the specialty of Family Medicine.

Residents in our program are members of the Professional Association of Residents of Newfoundland and Labrador (PARNL).
