CONGRATULATIONS on your acceptance to medical school at Memorial University of Newfoundland!
Students, Faculty and Staff look forward to welcoming you to campus and assisting with the transition to becoming an MD student. Orientation will run from Wednesday, Aug 21 to Friday, Aug 23, but before you arrive here’s what you can do to prepare:

Be sure to check your email, the one you used to apply, as the Orientation team will be emailing you important information.

In July - Get ready for Orientation
Register for your courses here. If you need help with registration, you can find helpful tips on the Registrar's website.

Set up your account: is your source for university news and announcements and your starting point for accessing on-line resources such as Memorial self-service and webmail.

Get your campus card: It's the only piece of identification you require to access campus. It includes your name, student number, library number and photo. Your campus card provides library access and electronic door access to the Medical Education Center (important to get as soon as possible as this is how you will access the student lounge, study rooms, etc.). It is also used for photocopying, laser printing, food purchases and more. Go to the bookstore to get your card.
Current Memorial students:
The process for current Memorial students to switch to MUNmail is documented on the MUNmail website with screenshots/descriptions and through a video. Visit the MUNmail site: and click on "How do I Sign Up?" in the right hand menu.
