Residents

ORIENTATION 2018:  This year's orientation for all radiology residents will be held on June 27, 2018 at time to be confirmed in the RADIOLOGY TEACHING ROOM HEALTH SCIENCE CENTRE.

The Discipline of Radiology at Memorial University is a great learning environment and residents receive excellent hands on experience and teaching. Our department size is small and there is a close teaching relationship between staff and residents.

There are 33 teaching faculty located throughout our three teaching hospitals and other faculty in centres throughout Newfoundland. The resident/faculty ratio is 13:33. Rotations include GI radiology, GU radiology, chest and cardiac radiology, skeletal radiology, neuroradiology, interventional radiology, nuclear medicine, CT Scanning, MR imaging, ultrasound, pediatric radiology, mammography, and emergency.
