Shane Arsenault, who recently graduated with a master of public health degree, is the 2014 recipient of the Chancellor’s Graduate Award and the Fry Family Foundation Graduate Leadership Award.
 
 
The Chancellor’s Graduate Award, which is the most prestigious leadership recognition award given by Memorial University, was presented at spring convocation to a graduate student. It is given to the graduate student who has demonstrated the greatest leadership contribution to graduate student life and other areas of the community during his or her university years. 
 
As recipient of the Chancellor’s Graduate Award, Mr. Arsenault also received thee Fry Family Foundation Graduate Leadership Award, valued at $5,000, in recognition of his contribution to student life at Memorial. This award recognizes the student who has assumed a variety of leadership responsibilities in various positions and who has made a significant contribution to the betterment of their community.
