News at Medicine - July 2013 - New app available for medical students, faculty and staff

New app available for medical students, faculty and staff
July 3, 2013
A new app has been launched for med students, faculty and staff called Ask Buddy on the Apple App Store.

From anywhere in the world, you can Ask Buddy to assist you in finding the information you require.  Whether you’re connected to the internet or not, you can Ask Buddy to find the answer that you seek or get the help that you need. This need for information may be urgent (e.g. “What do I do if I am injured at work (needle stick, fall, etc.)?”), or it may be less urgent, but still important (e.g., “What are the restrictions on personal or conference leave?”). If Ask Buddy does not have the answer, it can direct you to contact someone who does.

While Ask Buddy is currently only available for Apple devices, anyone can use the web version on a desktop or mobile browser by clicking here.

Kudos to the HSIMS eLearning team for their work in developing this helpful new tool.
