Three Masters students in Human Genetics Graduate during Spring 2015 Convocation

Spring 2015 Convocation

 
Robyn Byrne, supervised by Dr. Michael Woods, an Associate Professor in the Discipline of Genetics, graduated with an MSc during the recent Spring convocation. Her thesis was titled “Whole Exome Sequencing for the Identification of Novel Susceptibility Genes Related to Familial Plulmonary Fibrosis in a Newfoundland Cohort”. Currently she is doing her training in Genetic Counseling at the University of Toronto.
 
Jessica Squires, supervised by Dr. Terry-Lynn Young, a Professor in the Discipline of Genetics, also graduated with an MSc during the Spring convocation ceremony. Her thesis was titled” .

The genetic etiology of early-onset hearing loss in Newfoundland and Labrador

Currently she is a teacher in Buchans.
Hoda Rabie, supervised by Dr. Ann Dorward, an Associate Professor in the Division of Biomedical Science and cross-appointed to the Discipline of Genetics, graduated in the Spring 2015 convocation with an MSc. Her thesis was titled “
