Meet some of our current residents!!

Dr. Jeremy O’Brien, PGY1
Jeremy completed medical school at Memorial University and is currently a first-year anatomical pathology resident. Originally from Labrador, he hopes to continue working in Newfoundland after residency. He enjoys salmon fishing and traveling.
Dr. Kylie Everard, PGY1
Kylie is a graduate of Memorial University and is currently in her first year of anatomical pathology. She plans to pursue a fellowship in whichever area of pathology she finds her passion for during residency. Outside of medicine, Kylie enjoys hiking, reading, and spending time with her dog.
Dr. Simrin Sennik, PGY2
Simrin completed her medical degree in Dublin at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. She is from Thornhill, Ontario and enjoys hiking, art, and baking. Her areas of interest in pathology include: dermatological, gastrointestinal, and neuropathology.
Dr. Alexandra States, PGY3
Alex completed medical school at Memorial University and is currently a third-year anatomical pathology resident. Her areas of interest include gastrointestinal and gynecological pathology. She hopes to pursue a fellowship upon completion of the program. Alex also enjoys traveling, cooking, and running.
Dr. Madeline Fitzpatrick, PGY4
Madeline completed medical school at Memorial University and is currently a fourth-year anatomical pathology resident. Her area of interest includes gynecological pathology, in which she hopes to pursue a fellowship upon completion of the program. In her spare time, she likes to explore different parts of the island with her dog, Sophie—rain or shine!
