Of note

Dr. S. Ann Colbourne, (Class of 1987) and now assistant professor and clerkship director (internal medicine) has been elected a fellow of the American College of Physicians-American Society of Internal Medicine, the society of internists. The distinction recognizes achievements in internal medicine, the speciality of adult medical care. Dr. Colbourne has received a variety of awards including the Rhodes Scholarship and most recently the Gus Rowe Teaching Award.

Dr. Nigel F.S. Rusted is one of three Canadian winners of the William B. Spaulding Certificate of Merit, presented by Associated Medical Services for physician contributions to the history of medicine at the regional level. The award was created in 1996 in honor of Dr. Bill Spaulding, former AMS board member, innovative medical educator and avid physician-historian.
