In anticipation of the Proclamation of the Health Research Ethics Authority Act (HREA Act) the Transition Team wishes to notify interested parties of the following information:

The Government of Newfoundland and Labrador will be announcing the official date of proclamation for the Health Research Ethics Authority  and timelines for first submission in the near future. 

On April 01, 2009 the Health Research Ethics Authority – Transition Team Website (www.hrea.ca)  will be updated to provide:
·         The application form for industry sponsored clinical trials and the consent form template
·         Information and guidelines for submission of applications
·         Frequently Asked Questions
