Colleagues
We continue to make good progress in the Faculty of Medicine. We are moving forward with our strategic planning for 2012 – 2015 and would like your full contribution. Here are some important dates for you to keep in mind:
Progress Report & Prep Session – Tuesday, Oct. 18, 5:00 – 8:30 PM – held at the medical school
- Full Progress Report on what has been accomplished since we developed the current Strategic Plan together in November, 2006.
- Special presentation, Optimizing Research and Education – a Canadian and International Perspective by Dr. Jean Rouleau, Scientific Director of CIHR’s Institute of Circulatory and Respiratory Health (ICRH) and past Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Montreal
Planning Session– Nov 29 (evening only – 4:30 PM – 8:30 PM) and Nov 30, 8:45 AM – 4:00 PM – held at the Delta Hotel
As a team, the faculty did an excellent job developing the current Strategic Plan. We have made good progress in working towards the priorities that were suggested. It is time to update the Faculty Strategic Plan for the period 2012 – 2015, and
we would like to benefit again from everyone’s input as we continue to go forward.
I do understand that schedules during this time of year can be quite busy and these dates may not work for everyone. I hope you will be able to attend and look forward to your contributions. More detailed information regarding the sessions will be sent over the next while.
