Convocation, 1971-1980
Partnership
The Centre for Newfoundland Studies, Queen Elizabeth II Library, Memorial University of Newfoundland, under the direction of Joan Ritcey, Head, graciously agreed to be a partner in the creation of this exhibit. They contributed Convocation Programmes so that, combined with the programmes in the Faculty of Medicine Founders’ Archive collections, we were able to create a complete set containing all medical graduates from the first Bachelor of Medical Science in 1971 to the first Doctor of Medicine in 1973, and then continuing until 1980 for both degrees. These programmes were digitized in full.
