The first research laboratories for the Faculty of Medicine were set up in 1967 at the old fever hospital located in the St. John’s General Hospital on Forest Road. Further facilities were included in the Temporary Buildings, which were built in 1968, prior to the move in 1974-1976 into the Health Sciences Centre.
