Information Memoranda and Division Newsletters, 1974-1988

In August 1974, shortly after his appointment as Dean of Medicine, Dr. A. R. Cox began circulating Information Memoranda to all faculty and staff. The memoranda were created to be both a recognition and record of new appointments, promotions, resignations and events of the rapidly growing medical school and continued until 1988. In February 1989, MUNMED, which continues today as MUNMED News, replaced the Information Memoranda, with Sharon Gray as its editor from its first issue onwards.
