The Mission of the eHealth Research Unit is:

To conduct and direct research related to the development, implementation and evaluation of information systems technologies in the delivery of health care services;

To provide a test-bed for the development of new approaches to health care delivery using information technologies that can be successfully transferred to and sustained by the health care delivery system;

To provide a forum for students, faculty and health care providers to exchange ideas and perspectives related to the use of information technologies in the health care system in order to enhance health care delivery and the evaluation of the impact of these technologies.
