Population Therapeutics Research Group (PTRG) supports and carries out drug research in the population of Newfoundland and Labrador with the aim to reduce undesirable drug reactions, ensure drug effectiveness, optimize drug dosage decisions, and enhance drug therapy based on individual genetic profile.

This and future research will be enhanced through the PTRG’s development of the Heritability Analytics Infrastructure (HAI), and the Newfoundland Genealogy Database.
