Verification of Training

Memorial University of Newfoundland has a fee schedule for administrative services offered through the Postgraduate Medical Education Office:  

  • Internship Verification:  Fee of $25*
  • Residency Training Verification:  Fee of  $25* (per program)
  • Replacement Certificates:  Fee of $25* 

*Fees subject to change without notice


All verification requests must include the following three items:

  • Verification fee, as outlined above
  • Written request from credentialing service
  • Signed authorization of release by physician


Please note, we are not authorized to return long distance phone calls, cannot provide verbal verifications,
and are not able to accept credit cards.

A cheque or money order is to be made payable to Memorial University of Newfoundland and is due in advance.  Cheques sent through regular post from the United States can take up to one month to receive.  If time is a priority, we suggest a courier service be used; however, expedited courier services only guarantees quick delivery to our shipping and receiving centre; it can take several additional days before cheques are delivered to the PGME office.
