Verification of Residency Training

Memorial University of Newfoundland charges an administrative fee for all verifications of training confirmed by the Postgraduate Medical Education office:  

  • Residency Training Verification Forms: $25
  • Replacement Residency Training Certificates: $25* 
  • Residency Training Verification Letters: $25*

All verification requests from third parties (e.g. credentiallling boards) must include the following:

  • The administrative fee, as outlined above
  • A written request from the third party
  • A signed authorization of release from the physician requiring verification of residency training

Please note, we cannot provide verbal verifications, and are unable to accept credit cards.

A cheque or money order is to be made payable to Memorial University of Newfoundland and is due in advance. Cheques sent through regular post from the United States can take up to one month to receive. If time is a priority, we suggest a courier service be used; however, expedited courier services only guarantees quick delivery to our shipping and receiving centre; it can take several additional days before cheques are delivered to the PGME office.
