Education

 

The goal is to improve knowledge on the primary and secondary prevention of disorders of the blood and immune system and to increase awareness of the symptoms and signs of anemia, iron deficiency, bleeding disorders, clotting disorders, immune deficiency, and the early diagnosis of cancers of the blood and immune system. This will be achieved by conducting education and outreach initiatives that focus on decision makers, patients, family, patient advocates and healthcare professionals working in partnership with existing educational programs and patient advocacy groups.
