Dr. Taher is a triple certified Anatomical Pathologist, who was first certified in 1990 (Indian Medical Council), subsequently in 2009 by the Royal College and eventually by the American Board of Pathology in 2010. He also completed a Fellowship in Gastrointestinal Pathology at Brigham & Womens Hospital under the auspices of Harvard University.
 
While he has a true passion for gastrointestinal pathology, his forte lies in education and he is currently the residency program director in Anatomical Pathology. He has recently accepted a senior leadership role as the Divisional Chief of Pathology in Eastern Health.
