Dr. Teri Stuckless graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Memorial University in 2003. She completed residency training in radiation oncology at Queen’s University, Kingston, Ontario in 2008. As a resident, she developed an interest in radiation oncology workforce planning and worked with the Canadian Association of Radiation Oncology (CARO) Manpower Committee and Program Director’s Committee to develop guidelines for residency training capacity recommendations. She published a model of the Canadian radiation oncology workforce that allows prediction of human resource supply and demand over a ten year period.
 
She is the Division Chief of Radiation Oncology at Eastern Health and Director of MedCAREERS, the career advising program for undergraduate medical students in the Faculty of Medicine at MUN. She is a full-time radiation oncologist at the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre and Assistant Professor in the Discipline of Oncology at MUN. She chairs a number of committees within the Cancer Care Program of Eastern Health and areas of clinical practice include management of gynecologic and gastrointestinal malignancies. She also has experience managing breast, CNS and pediatric malignancies and an interest in work-life balance and student wellness.
