During the final years of his doctoral studies in Computer Science, Donald Craig became an active member of the MUN Medical Informatics Group. This led to a post-doctoral position at the eHRU upon completion of his Ph.D. in 2007. His current position is Research Assistant.

Donald is continuing the design and development of a user interface for an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) prototype suitable for both web-based and mobile displays. The EMR is designed to allow physicians to effectively visualize a patient's overall health record and to efficiently retrieve detailed information as required. He is also investigating EMR interoperability using various health information exchange technologies and standards.
