Research Interests:

Health policy, health services research, public engagement, children’s health. 


Current Research Projects:

Improving the Care of Children and Adolescents with Type 1 Diabetes (T1DM) and Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA): The Newfoundland and Labrador dka Project (NLdkaP) (PI: Dr. Newhook) [Funded by Public Health Agency of Canada].

Development of Web-Based Research Skills Training for Medical Residents (PI: Dr. Newhook) [Funded by an Ingram Award for Educational Research].

Does increased Health Professional Education improve hospital compliance with the Ten Steps of the Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative? (PI: Dr. Drover) [Funded by the Janeway Research Foundation].

Factors influencing adoption of new cancer drugs within different institutional contexts (PI: Dr. Coyte, U of T) [Funded by CIHR].
