In 1997, she started her PhD training in Molecular Developmental Biology and Molecular Oncology at Memorial University and is an Assistant Professor, Department of Tissue Regeneration MIRA Institute for BioMedical Technology and Technical Medicine, University of Twente, the Netherlands.
