Graduate Studies in Medicine
The Faculty of Medicine offers graduate degrees: Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Medicine and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.), Master of Health Ethics (MHE), and Master of Public Health (MPH) in ten program areas:
Applied Health Services Research
Cancer & Development
Cardiovascular and Renal Sciences
Community Health & Humanities
Master of Health Ethics
Master of Public Heath
Each program area has a coordinator who is responsible to communicate the interests of the programs to the Faculty of Medicine Graduate Studies Committee and participates in the admission of graduate students into the graduate program in Medicine. The Faculty of Medicine also offers graduate Diploma Programs in Community Health and Clinical Epidemiology.
All matters related to graduate studies are made through the Office of Research and Graduate Studies and all forms to be submitted to the School of Graduate Studies are signed by the Assistant Dean as the "Head of the Academic Unit".
