The Dr. Wallace Ingram Award for New Faculty was established by Medical Graduates’ Society 2004 under the leadership of president Dr. Wayne Gulliver to honour Dr. Wallace Ingram, professor emeritus (Internal Medicine) for his outstanding contributions to medical education throughout his career as a doctor and professor in this province.  The Dr. Wallace Ingram award in the amount of approximately $25,000 will provide start up support for the academic development of new faculty members.

This annual award is available to new faculty members of the Faculty of Medicine, Memorial University of Newfoundland.

For the purposes of this award, faculty who have been appointed during the past academic year (September 1 to August 31) are considered new faculty.
