History of Reunions
The first medical graduates reunion was held in 1983. It was for all graduates. Over 300 people attended the event, which culminated with a formal ball at the Hotel Newfoundland. Dr. Donald Morrison was the graduate who was responsible for this event.
Reunions have been held periodically since that time usually at the request of a representative of a graduating class.
In 1998 a template was developed to have reunions each year for the 25th, 20th, 15th and 10th graduating anniversaries.
In 2003 it became the 30th, 25th 20th, 15th and 10th years and on it will go. This process seems to be working very well with more graduates attending each year.
