PETRASOVITS, Dr. Andres Peacefully at the Ottawa Civic Hospital, after a lengthy illness on Tuesday, July 24, 2001. The beloved son of the late cardiologist Dr. Andres Petrasovits and Elvira Perez of Valladolid, Spain. He is sadly missed by his dear and close friend Sylvie Stachenko and by his numerous personal friends as well as colleagues. In following the legacy of his father, Andres had a major impact in improving heart health worldwide. Friends may visit at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair and McGarry, 150 Woodrooffe Ave., at Richmond Road on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church, 153 Woodroffe Ave., on Thursday at 11 a.m. Interment Pinecrest Cemetery.
